In the field of telecommunications, the Company delivers to the market various services, including calculation, design, manufacturing and assembling of all kinds of support structures for antennas, self-supporting antennas or antennas with tension members, manufactured of metal profiles, of folded metal sheets, steel tubes, rolled metal sheets, etc., under recognized international standards or under customized specifications given by the client. The Company is experienced in proposing customized solutions for reinforcing existing structures that have to be recycled.
TRANSTEL S.A. is offering a wide range of services in the field of communications. The services being offered are those related to electronic equipments for communications, which may be as follows:
• Legal Counselor’s Office: Provides assistance and procedure guidance at the working sites of future facilities, including approval of blueprints, specialized procedures of documents in government bureaus, compliance with local rules for present constructive style. The Company provides assistance on a continuous basis for all necessary procedures of licensing and acts as a consultant for all legal matters that may arise.
• Calculation, design, manufacturing and assembly of structures.
• Calculation, design and execution of civil works.
• Surveys of sites and structures.
• Supplementary works.
• Maintenance.
Field surveys: The Company has the human resources necessary for making soil tests for calculation and design of general foundations of structures and also special foundations. It is able to do all geographic surveys that may be necessary for site localization, access to the same, obtaining geographic charts and geodesic confirmations by conventional methods (GPS, altimeter, etc.)
The Company interacts with other companies having satellite geodesic systems for digitally studying communication networks.
Project Office: The head office maintains a technical department specialized in preparing projects of supporting structures and foundations, in compliance with international standards.
It also offers:
• Design and execution of electric supply systems, both regular and for emergencies.
• Design and execution of grounding systems for direct lightning strokes on highly sensitive facilities and for electric shocks impairing communication systems.
• Special design of conventional or special supporting structures for antennas, wave guides, etc.
All the skills mentioned above enable the Company to offer comprehensive services (on a “turn-key” basis) involving all services related to modern communication networks.
